Emory brings both adult and pediatric TMA expertise to the USTMA network. Ana Antun, MD, MSc practices classical hematology and has research interests that include TTP and disorders of hemostasis.

On the pediatric side, Satheesh Chonat, MD leads work in red blood cell disorders and thrombotic microangiopathies at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. His research includes complement dysregulation, endothelial injury, transplant-associated TMA, complement-mediated TMA, TTP, and emerging approaches to complement-mediated disease.
